Fragments of Memory
Discover how personal biographies offer critical insight into life under National Socialism
This workshop focuses on individuals whose life stories are intertwined with National Socialism in various ways – and on the question of agency: It addresses antisemitism, racism and exclusion, displacement and flight, both passive and active resistance, silent complicity, and perpetration. But it also looks at how this period has been dealt with from 1945 to the present: What responsibility does this create for the future?
This workshop requires participants to have prior knowledge or experience with the topic of National Socialism.
Duration: 2 hours
