David Tiefenthaler

David Tiefenthaler has been involved in the project „Viele Stimmen“ (“Many Voices”) Cultural Heritage Digital since 2024 and is working on the digitization of the collection of the House of Austrian History.

David Tiefenthaler studied Political Science (BA) and European Studies (MA) in Vienna and Leipzig, and since 2021 he has also been pursuing an artistic education in photography and moving image (currently at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna). His work and research focuses on Eastern European history after 1945, memory, oral history and urban sociology. As part of the project “Viele Stimmen” Cultural Heritage Digital, he is responsible for the content-led object photography.
