David Tiefenthaler
David Tiefenthaler works as a photographer on the digitization of the permanent collection of the House of Austrian History and produces media content for exhibitions and the digital museum section.
David Tiefenthaler studied Political Science (BA) and European Studies (MA) in Vienna and Leipzig, and since 2021 he has also been pursuing an artistic education in photography and moving image at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. His work and research focuses on Eastern European history after 1945, memory, oral history and urban sociology. As part of the project “Many Voices - Cultural Heritage Digital“, he was responsible for the content-led object photography. In addition to photography, since 2026 he is producing audio and video content for publications and exhibition projects at the House of Austrian History.
