And what does that have to do with me?
A project by Theater:Klub at Dschungel Wien and hdgö, June 3–6, 2023
The occupation of the Hainburg wetlands, Johanna Dohnal as Austria’s first Minister for Women, the Sea of Lights at Heldenplatz – who fought for the rights that now feel taken for granted? And what connection do young people have to the last 100 years of Austrian history?
Together, the Theater:Klub at Dschungel Wien and the House of Austrian History embark on a theatrical research journey. At the hdgö, the young performers allow themselves to be challenged by the exhibits – they research, document, and conduct interviews, closely pursuing the question of relevance. The resulting performances will be presented on June 3, 4, 5, and 6 at the hdgö, with each performance starting at 6:30 PM inside the museum.
