Ticket desk and prices (upper ground floor)
Please purchase your ticket at the ticket desk on the upper ground floor. Concessions are available for people with a disability card.
Any accompanying person listed on the disability card receives free admission to the museum.

The staff will be happy to help you find your way around the building.
Cloakroom (upper ground floor)
The cloakroom is located on the raised ground floor beyond the ticket desk area.
1€ or 2€ cois are needed to operate the lockers. The coin will be returned when you open the locker.
Welcome desk in the Foyer (mezzanine)
A welcome desk is located in the Foyer of the museum on the mezzanine level.
A member of the education team is always present there and can assist you with questions or concerns you may have.
Lounge (mezzanine)
The hdgö Lounge is located in the museum Foyer.
There you will find seating and a vending machine for snacks and drinks.
Accessible toilets (mezzanine)
An accessible toilet (all-gender) is located on the mezzanine level next to the Lounge. The door to the toilet does not open automatically. If you need assistance, please contact the staff at the welcome desk in the Foyer.
Seating in the exhibition and portable folding chairs (mezzanine)
Seating is available throughout the exhibition. In addition, you can pick up a portable folding chair from the Foyer or in the exhibition to use as a walking or seating aid.
Wheelchair available
A wheelchair can be provided for your museum visit after prior telephone reservation.

Magnifying glasses
Magnifying glasses with an integrated LED light are available to borrow from the welcome desk in the Foyer.
Headphones with induction loop
Headphones with an induction loop can be borrowed free of charge from the ticket desk on the upper ground floor.
They can be connected via a jack plug to many audio stations in the main exhibition.

Languages
Exhibition texts at the hdgö are available in German and English.
Guided tours can be booked in several languages, including English, French, Spanish, Romanian, as well as in Simple German (Easy Language).
