Eva Meran
Eva Meran is responsible for the Education section of the House of Austrian History since September 2017.
Eva Meran studied art history and culture management from 2002 to 2010 at the Karl Franzens University in Graz and the Ca'Foscari University in Venice, and between 2014 and 2016 completed a Master’s degree in /ecm (educating/curating/managing) for exhibition theory and practice at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Between 2010 and 2015, she worked at the <rotor> Centre for Contemporary Art in Graz, and was responsible for the areas of project management, press, and education, plus curatorial and editorial collaboration. Over the years she has been active in a number of initiatives and organisations (the smallest gallery – collaboration space, Grazer Kunstverein, kunsttext.werk, a.o.). From 2016–2017 she was Associate Curator at Kunsthalle Wien.
Teaching activities: 2018 at the Institute for Contemporary History of Vienna University; 2022/23 at the Institute for History at the Karl Franzens University in Graz.
