Antonia Plessing
Antonia Plessing has been part of the Education team of the House of Austrian History since October 2018. Since March 2026, she has been leading the Education department.
She studied French, Spanish and Romanian philology in Vienna, Paris and Madrid and completed a Master in curatorial studies at the Vienna University of Applied Arts (/ecm – educating, curating, managing). From 2005 to 2009, she worked in the press department of the Vienna International Filmfestival, Viennale, from 2005 to 2011 as projectmanager and researcher for the Vienna poetry school and from 2011 to 2017 as editorial assistant for eurozine, the European network of cultural journals.
Since 2025, she has been co-directing the Braunau Contemporary History Days together with Stefan Schlögl.
