The Encyclopaedia of the House of Austrian History offers you reliable information in the form of individual articles, each of which relates to a moment in history or a particular development. Historians and academics from related disciplines have come together to explain key events since 1918 – in each case using the most up-to-date research available.
You can select articles from certain chapters or epochs, or choose a particular theme. The articles are sorted by year but can also be viewed alphabetically.
The list does not claim to be exhaustive – new articles are added on an ongoing basis. We welcome suggestions for new topics you think are important and are always happy to hear your feedback.
