This windup tin toy rabbit with felt ears comes from the US occupation zone and has an inscription on the base showing it is a German patent. The rabbit is hollow and was originally filled with confectionary such as sweets or chocolates. The rabbit could be wound up with a key. The built-in mechanism allowed it to be set in motion, causing it to drop the sweets that had been put inside.
