Johannes Pötzlberger
Junior Collection Curator
Johannes Pötzlberger is currently finishing his Master's degree in Contemporary History and Media at the University of Vienna and previously completed his Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science with a focus on Austrian political history in Vienna.
In addition to his studies, he worked as a project assistant on the national election study AUTNES and was employed as a tutor at the University of Vienna. He gained experience in working with museum collections during a summer internship at the House of Austrian History.
Since October 2020, Johannes Pötzlberger has been working on the recording and scientific cataloguing of objects in the collection of the House of Austrian History. He has been involved in various exhibitions at the museum and is co-curator of the exhibition ‘Tune in. Austria in between propaganda and protest’. He has been a junior collection curator at the museum since 2024.
