In 2023 the House of Austrian History was designated an OekoBusiness Wien enterprise and became a member of the OekoBusiness Wien network in recognition of its sustainability measures and continued professional development in the field of environmental protection.
OekoBusiness Wien is the Environmental Service Package of the City of Vienna for Viennese enterprises. Launched in 1998 by the City of Vienna’s Department for Environmental Protection, it supports and advises OekoBusiness Wien enterprises on how to implement sustainable measures within their operations. Certified enterprises undertake training in sustainability and carry out practical projects to protect the environment and reduce consumption of resources.
